POLL: Will Madoobe come to Xamar or not?

This Friday will tell us who stands where, if Madoobe comes then when can safely and surely say that Jubaland project is forever doomed and if he doesn't come than prepare for Jubaland Fiasco 2.0!

So let's take the poll and state why!

This fight is really between the Sade and Absame fueled by Faroole.

The fact that both Sade and Absame are brotherly people who are made to hate one another by Puntland, is very sickening.

On the other hand Madoobe's has no real power to impose his will on the various peoples of the Jubba's, this region is very multi-clan and the Ogadens are very reliant on the Kenyans just to stay in Kismayo. They have zero presence in Gedo and Middle Jubba.

Madoobe has no choice because this would put the Kenyans on the spot light. The Kenyans have already mass murdered members of the Sade and Hawiye clans in the Jubba's. They even attacked and killed Somalia's national armed forces and briefly detained Col Abbas.

Which goes to explain why Kenya is really hated and their presence as NGO staff in Mogadishu is deeply resented because they are now seen as enemies of the Somali people.

The central government for the time being has successfully managed to ease the tensions caused by the Kenyans in that part of Somalia. However I stress that nobody has a problem with Ahmed Madoobe as long as he improves his relationship with the government.

At the end of the day Ahmed Madoobe needs to share power with Barre Hiiraale to secure the security and stability of the city of Kismayo.

This is an initiative by the prime minister who reportedly wants the Jubba admin to accept the likes of Barre Hiraale and allow them to be represented or gain some kind of foothold in the new administration.The Jubba admin has already gone to Xamar as agreed and engaged in talks with all opposition groups including those involved in the Kismaayo clashes.Barre Hiraale is still a belligerent opponent of the Jubba admin and his options are diminishing very fast, the whole Oct conference is a smokescreen for the PM to push his agenda under the guise of reconciliation.

Kismaayo will hold the next phase of reconciliation, the PM should tell Barre and his contacts to disarm and move on before the move north against Shabab engulfs them.
