Lower shabelle were always a Hawiye country with Biiyomal. but biiyomal controlled that area for centuries.. the D&M had never anything to say about lower shabelle.. aswell the barawanis were only property for those 2 qabiil.. A barawani is viewed as a stranger in those regions and have always been viewed in that way. even the geledi WHO lives there which are part of D&M now are not somalis.
