Muslim u know i was curious about that Q-- too-- so i asked my dad-- & He said it originated from the military of Siyaad Barre. His army men walking with their boots & making faqaash faqaash faqaash noise! Is that the truth???? I dont know-- lets ask the older Daroods--

Faqash is the name of a certain tick, it's darkish in color, multipeded, antaena and a blood drawing "devise" and it lives off the animal blood and sometimes unsuspecting human.
