Sound more professional than you really are. Use a thesaurus to change any small words you use and replace it with a better and more professional one.SelfDiscovery wrote:Yes yes....other than lying..got anything else?

One thing will stand out in your application.
Its Called Qadr. If It was predestined that you get call and get that job, You will get call and get the Interview. If it was not in your Risiq List, believe me wallaahi, You can even talk to the hiring manager to help you fill the application but you won't get it. So, Just fill as much as you can but Allah will decide the result.
What I am telling you is called Iimaan billaah and I am enjoying a comfortable live since it got into my heart. If my car breaks down in the middle of the road or my mother get stroke or I get paralyzed, It was predestined for me and there is no way I could avoid it. So it brings calm in my heart.
So, where you will work, how much money you will get, whether you will be fired or promoted, whether you will get divorced or even get married has nothing to do with anything that you do or know. Its upto Qadr.

Sigh. Ignore this dude^
Cover letter tips are plenty online. It should be addressed and to a specific department/individual if possible. Be forward with purpose of the of letter/application; why you are sending it. Speak to your qualities in a concise and professional manner. Almost scientific and observational. Speak to why you believe you are qualified for the position and how your qualities fit into their environment. Close with a hope to hear from and a dash of thank you.
A resume is only as good as what you can put into it.
Good luck.

They will tell you what they want and the kind of person they're looking for. Do your research and present yourself in a way that ticks all their boxes. Use evidence, that's where the verbs come in i.e. don't tell them the skills you have, give them examples of when you used them.
Good luck
