AL QAEDA NOW HIRING!

AL-QAEDA has put job advertisements on the internet asking for supporters to help put together its web statements and video montages, an Arabic newspaper reported.

The London-based Asharq al-Awsat said on its website this week that al-Qaeda had "vacant positions" for video production and editing statements, footage and international media coverage about militants in Iraq, the Palestinian territories, Chechnya and other conflict zones where militants are active.
The paper said the Global Islamic Media Front, an al-Qaeda-linked web-based organisation, would "follow up with members interested in joining and contact them via email".

The paper did not say how applicants should contact the Global Islamic Media Front.

Al-Qaeda supporters widely use the internet to spread the group's statements through dozens of Islamist sites where anyone can post messages.

Al-Qaeda-linked groups also set up their own sites, which frequently have to move after being shut by internet service providers.

Knock it off. You know better.

On the other hand, maybe you could infiltrate and pass critical information on to the FBI and CIA.

Usama is fighting for himself. Please tell me you are not so naive that you can not see that. You seem to have an intellect. Surely you must know this struggle has nothing to do with justice or Islam. It has to do with naked political power.

Also, the FBI and CIA are NOT terrorist organizations. They are accountable to the rule of law. To whom is Al Qaeda accountable?

Do you remember when we had the Ku Klux Klan? They were not paid, they were attracted to the ideology, they could opt out at any time. Well, they were focking losers and so are Al Qaeda idiots. Let's get real here. Their ideology is shit. It's just too bad that it is taking the Ummah so long to figure this out.

They are accountable to Congress. And believe me, it ain't no free pass.

Sorry.

OK, here is my take. Usama is a man who loves adventure and has big ambitions. He is also essentially an aesthetic. He got his first taste of the wild life in Afghanistan fighting the Russians and he liked it. He also likes the adulation that comes with being a successful and well known warrior. On top of that, he was born into a very religious family, and according to all accounts, was the most religious of the lot. I suspect he is the real thing in that sense, except that his judgement has been skewered by fanaticism and an inability to think critically (A common flaw in religious fanatics). So while I think he rationalizes his actions in Islamic terms (probably even to himself), the reality is that he is competing for the big prize. I mean think about it. If you are a Muslim today, what more could one do to establish his reputation in the Islamic world than unify the Ummah under one political banner? You saw what it did for Khomeini. Well magnify that multi-fold if you could do it across the board. Usama, deep down, wants to be the new Khalif. And he wants that Kahlif to have total political power over the entire Islamic Ummah.

no you're dancing around the truth my freind. osama took arms against america and the west because he was fed up with they way they manipulate the rest of the world, the way the way monopolise everything for themselves, they way they want to play global police, the way they stick their dirty noses where it's not needed, what they do to muslim countries, the injustices they inflict upon poor ppl mostly muslims. his first distaste for the americans started when that ex-us puppet named fahad was forced to sign a declaration to invite u.s marines to islams birth place and attack another muslim country from a muslim soil.

besides, you want your democracy to prevail around the world and everyone to abide by your rules, what is wrong with others wanting their values to be practiced,/spread around the world?? what justification have you got to your idieology to spread across the globe unhindered and prohibits others to do the same?

You think Usama is a true idealist? Yeah, sure he is. Like Meinhof was. Shit. The guy has no morals saxib. Even you can see that. I tend to look at Usama like I do all politicians, self serving scum.

Sure he was pissed off about US troops fighting the Iraq invasion. But his alternate plan, that he be allowed to build an Army and fight the Iraqis, was unrealistic. Go to Kuwait and ask if they are glad we came?

As for the rest, the US is a global power. That is just the way it is. Usama can't change that. Only time will change that. And it won't be changed by force, it will slowly evolve through economic development in other countries like India and China. BTW the Ummah is screwed. This is its last gasp. When the oil is gone, there will be no more money, and no more leverage, and the jig will be up. But be that as it may, Usama is about Usama, of that I am sure. He likes being the big man.
