They have oil money, but don't worry Hargeisa is getting there without oil or official recognition.

That is true but you still need a stable economy.

This could be Hargeisa in few years time if they continue building those expensive towers and pave all the roads.

Abdi.Ismail You should not be amazed by the Arabs because it is thanks to the oil resources they have not because of hard work like Singapore.
When there was no oil they weren't any better.

Singapore has some oil resources but it has a trade-oriented market economy for the most part and it refines oils in its ports. Somalis can
follow this model where they refine purchased oil in their ports and supply it to by passing ships. A lot of the world trade goes by the Gulf
of Aden (which Somaliland can take advantage of).

abdi.ismail hasn't got that type 2 secessionist disease. He believes in decentralized autonomy.
I'm sure in our lifetimes Somalia will look something like UAE etc etc.......Just gotta work together as those clans in UAE do.

Actually bro Singapore has oil (some) resources and that impacted on their explosive development.
In other words their oil greased the pistons of economic development that they no longer need.

Their oil resources and oil refining economy only accounts to about 5% of the country's GDP.Their economy is rather more dependent on export
and refining oil, then selling them to passing by ships unlike Arabs who heavily depend on their natural oil resources.
