James Dahl come in!!!

Post by Bermooda »

Now this subject is very controversial for there are many that claim Imam Aḥmed Gurey AUN to be from their clan starting from Dir to Ogadens to Marexan to even Beja from Sudan and Amaharans of Ethiopia.

I came across your site claiming that Imam Aḥmed Gurey AUN is actually a Saxawle Karanle how did you come to this conclusion yes i have seen the abtiris but some will say cos it belongs to you but on the other hand you not being Somali does help your cause but i would like to know more and were you got your info.

This guy tho agrees with you https://twitter.com/Karanle

Somali-Transporter
It started all with Sultan Maḥamed Abubakar Maḥfuẓ AUN who is Karanle taking power away from the Walashma dynasty -when you look at the Walashma abtiris is says Absame :| -but then his successor Garad Abun Adadshe AUN whose cousin was Imam Gurey :| was killed by AUN Sulṭan Abubakar Maḥamed Walashma who then was killed in a revenge by Imam Gurey ending their dynasty for good except in name. Harar today when it comes to the Somali side is mainly Karanle 8-)

One thing for sure tho is that Beesha not only took part but were also part of Imam Gurey elite army.
At this moment the companions of the imam screamed out, saying, ‘The infidels have tricked us; they are after the livestock,’ whereupon the imam split his forces into two divisions: one he entrusted to Garad Ahmusa, composed of the Somali spearmen of the Marraihan, the Gorgorah and the Hawiya; around one-thousand of them from among the most famous spearmen. And from the soldiers bearing shields, the same number.

You might also know this but in Taleex there are six tombs which 2 is from Beesha. Bro we have the richest history of the whole Somali race but we are the least talkers about it so much so even that others might be stealing it stealth mode. They've even gone as far as denying Ajuuran empire was Hawiye

And say, "Truth has come, and falsehood has departed. Indeed is falsehood, [by nature], ever bound to depart."

its the law of god that all falsehood and lies will go away by nature, and truth will remain

this deserves a longer reply but it is late, basically Balow is a clan of Seexawle Karanle Hawiye, related to Axmed Gurey but not his ancestor, which is Baad Seexawle. This descends down to the sons of Maxamed Gasasle, of whom include Ibrahim Gazi and Adaadshe. Axmed Gurey is Ibrahim's son and Abuun is Adaadshe's son.

I think Axmed Gurey may actually have living descendants. Abuun certainly does, his descendants went on to rule in Awsa.

I read that Mahfuz was also a son of Maxamed Gasasle but this isn't in Karanle records and this may be incorrect info. Some stories say he ruled Zeila which certainly is a ways away from the Karanle deegan which is around Harar, but considering there was a Karanle dynasty ruling the Awsa oasis, maybe geography is no indicator.

Imām Aḥmed Ibrahīm 1526 - 1543 The conqueror, cousin of Garād Abūn ʿAdādshe of Hubat both of the Karanle Hawiye. He ruled Adal in all but name and launched a conquest of the Ethiopian highlands. While not technically a Sultan of Harar, no list is complete without him.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sultanate_of_Harar
I also heard that there is found some ethiopian books that are claiming he is karanle as well.. old books

i will make a research and make a post
