Small things that you take for granted can bring you down.

There's a hadith about the prophet walking past two dead muslim graves, he stood for a second, near the graves was a small tree, he took two small branches out of the tree and placed them on both of the graves.
His companions asked " Why did you do that?" to which he (saw) replied : " Those two are being punished in the grave, one of them used to back-bite and spread rumours that eventually ruined someone's reputation, and the other would urinate in the public ( another narration states that he would attend the salah with urine-stained clothes, deliberately), the prophet (saw) then said that He placed those two branches, so maybe that Allah would ease the punishment of these two dead muslims.
Moral of the hadith? what you look at something very small and significant as bad-gossip, or attending the salah can actually bring you down when you leave this ephemeral realm.
