Wow 250 billion cubic meters of water estimated discoverd in turkana kenya, and northern kenya was the least promising part of the somali-kenyan basin. The 2 possible aquifiers are in somaliland toghdeer and southern ogaden into gedo.

even if we do find the same 250 km cubed like turkana for example in somalia then since kenya uses 3.6 km cubed a year and they are 41 million, and this could supply them for the next 70 years at current consumption.
how long will it last somalis? 210 years?
and somalias reserves are likely to be 10 to 20 times bigger .
