If tigrays manage to screw up the election and oromos get's an caydiid-alike leader things can get ugly in Ethiopia, what is your view on this? my view is that if Ethiopia get's under chaos ONLF and Liyu police would probably form an military kind of Somali galbeed (( heard this from an liyu commander in jigjiga back in summer 2012 )) and close their borders, 1 either join the federal republic of Somalia if they get assistend or 2 form an own republic.

I welcome for tension between the Oromos and the rest of Amhara/Tigray. This will be a joy for us Somalis both Soomali Galbeed and Somalia as we will both have less influence of the Ethiopian regime.

brother definitely its going to get ugly, ethiopia is like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode into mini nations (like USA stated, ethiopia will be uncontrollable and a failed state by 2030, and for certainty a fragmented nation)!,......TPLF and ELPF had a secret meeting in Dubai this week, where they were talking about (guess what, yes) future N and S Greater Tigray, TPLF knows brother that the end game for ethiopia is near and they have to make the decision to leave from the Ethiopian union now before its late and becomes a ethnic war ground (like Yugoslavia) and they will be the victim of genocide!

There was this night i was having a little talk with a couple of friends of mines in Jigjiga, i was at their house and drinking coffee where we was talking about where meles zenawi have gone at that time meles was not announced dead but i knew he was dead a long time ago, they said they were scared that clashes would appear and chaos, that was the time when the liyu commander said that there was nothing to worry about even if ethiopia gets under chaos, liyus would close their borders right away and fight any amxaars. But the question is are Somalia going to assist the ONLF/WSLF or not, If yes then they should have an secretly meeting right before the ethiopian election.

Oromos might have the numbers but they are second players when it comes to the Amxaros even if oromo takes power if there is a power vacuum, the Amxaro is mentally socially politically stronger than the Oromo and they will be overwhelmed and they will lose power. Remember the Derg the Oromo generals staged the coup d'etat and later the Amxara Generals assassinated most of the oromo Generals from wololga. The same way the EPRDF cleansed the Amxara from the top commander ship of the Ethiopian army the last Amxara general was General Molla Hailemariam, he was fired in 2012. Tigre are a small ethnic group but they will be removed from power if they make the smallest error they cant afford miscue it will be fatal for them and they will not be able to recover.

Marsin qoroxay do not put all your hopes on the unreliable Galla. As for us in Somaliland or the isxaaq in Ethiopia, i dont know what steps we will take i wouldn't mind the Hawd and reserve area to be re united with the Somaliland republic. But the Isaaq elites in Hargeisa and those in Ethiopia, believe the Ogadens cannot be trusted one bit, i mean if we resolved our major difficulties and differences a jointly cooperation would create a win win situation, there are no permanent allies or permanent friends i personally would not mind to support the ONLF if we broadened this cooperation

Hawd and reserved area are interlinked its one territory the territory the hawd was under the British Somaliland up to 1948 while the reserved area was under Menelik but the Isaaqs were allowed to water their camels a special arrangement. But the British gave our land away to Haile selassie The Hawd and the reserve area after 1948 we were not allowed to water camels on top of that after the Habaryoonis ogaden wars ended Danood. Emperor Haile selasie issued a statement that no Isaaq is allowed to pass beyond Danood.

The reserved area you're talking about, do you mind telling me the names of those districts?
