over 139 mps signed anti-motion, news: pm is going 2 resign

Post by sahal80 »

Over 139 mps have signed an anti-saacid motion, news are saying the pm is going to resign before the parliament meeting within 48 hours.

News are saying a coalition of saacids old and new opponents from the 4 directions have signed an anti- saacid motion and that the parliament meeting may take place under the second deputy speaker(related 2 farah abdulqadir) who is one of his opponents and campaigns againist him taking advantage of the absense of the speaker(was sent to kuwait) and his first deputy(was sent to ethiopia)

The enough number to oust him is 139 out of the 278 somali mps.

I feel bad for the pm walahi maskiinka did not deserve this!. There has to be some modification on the pm's role, or else this situation will be all too common.

the MPS should be held accountable every MP must sign the motion it in front of the world news and his/hers vote displayed to the public. anyway saacid needs to address and face the voting and not run away.

According to the news they are from the the jadids relations, most of .5 who support farah abdulqadir(his clan was the first deputy but now they are the second deputy and have banadiri connections) sharif hassan who has a secret deal with them, puntland, jubba and dirta waqooyi)

Yeah, the speakers position is one of the things that motivated saacid to become againist them, basically it was the speaker who held a meeting in his house for the three of them when hassan sheekh was back and he told him that "he doesn't want to involve in the executive authority but he supports saacid to have his mandate bc your group is doing all the agreements and put us both in a difficult position and we are now under pressure from our bases...I want a balance in there otherwise let us go back to the old days and every one deal with his clan" The speaker was back from baydhabo and there was stories that he might have been told this by the ethiopian generals to connect himself with the pm againist the president but in the last weeks he stayed away from the pm bc of sharif hassan pressure. Sharif hassan wants to become a president of D&M and this will weaken the speaker who hails from the elaay minority of buurhakabo who were always allied with xamar groups even it was them who led aideed to baydhabo and backed his occupation of their land.

Jawaris subclan was also used by sharif againist D&M dreams to become president.

I personally like jawari, he has westren and arab mentality and doesn't like to involve what is not his business he is also an old man and has no extra energy for meetings.

He wrote arabic books in the 80s he also transilated a lot including shaykh otheymin books. Speaks arabic, italian, english and danish. Was a professor and minister during siyaad barre times.

ALHAMDULLILAH,

brother Sahal, Saacids departure will be inshallahi a great news for Somalia and bad news for its enemies (mainly ethiopia)!

Now Somalia can go and do business (like building a professional military) with turkey and so forth without going through Ethiopia's IGAD like ethiopia wanted through Saacid!

Interesting so there is a coalition of groups united what about saacid what about his team what do they lack i predicted also that saacid does not have the political mechanism to stay long he can stall the vote of confidence in parliament though , Farah abdulqadir .5 sheikhaal is still one of the most influential members in the damuljadiid group, interesting what is the government plan on bay and bakool i heard still large swats of those regions are in hands of shabaab or their affiliates where does sharif hassan fit on all of this sakin never tires. We will see the next coming days what happens it sure will be very interesting how powerful damuljadiid is in Somalia.

I myself waiting to know this but I guess its not farmajo he only had one supporter in the policy unit called fahad yasin who his mum hails from gedo and was born in luuq. There is an info of farmajo likes to control his cabinet so

According to an inside-info hassan sheekh is going to appoint a second gedo pm but some dam jadid guys was telling them in hotelada, it depends on their position from this battle.

The motion is wanted from both sides ay this point, so no surpris at the moment. What is crucial is how they vote. This is not necessarily an anti saacid motion but a pro let Parliament settle this motion. Remember that the president nor the prime minister can move forward unless this issue is resolved.

Once the motion had enough signatures than a date is set for the vote.

Lol what a logic

Yes and yes its an anti- saacid motion. Who campaigns for it? Who has signed it? and in where was done? Saacid opponents and their places!

Once the motion reaches the secretary general of the parliament, he will hand it to the speaker or his deputy...in here saacid supporters can have their say, they could be lesser in numbers than those who already signed it and are waiting to vote againist him besides who ever joins them!!

Why the rumors now that he is resigning, this was revealed by his close advisors...apparently he is affraid of this great number that has signed the motion!

Saacid was offered $1m before going to the mps, rumors are saying now he asked for $2m and that he will resign.

The case may not reach the parliament and the pm may resign.
