Re: Sci-fi trailer
I can’t sleep so I might be ranting right now.
I told myself I would avoid discusses tv shows, especially the ones i watch*shakes head*, But I am looking at suggestions again Is it just me or are things really dry on TV lately? They are only a few shows I think I actually like watching are , like “The Walking Dead” “Vampire Diaries “. these shows are not even as exciting as before but still watchable . I also like watching some Reality TV shows that I am not really proud of mentioning, so gonna skip that. I also am watching shows I don’t like anymore only because I can’t find anything better to watch. I am one of those weird people that gets bored easy so I keep propping my Laptop when I do tasks. I have bad secret habits. I prop my laptop when I am cooking, ironing, cleaning & organizing, getting reading for work, eating etc. Anyways….Yesterday while cooking I watched and listened “Revenge” and “Real housewives of Altanta”. Both boring.
But you mentioned Scifi. I think I am going to avoid clicking your trailor. Trailors usually give away to much . so i might try a episode. maybe.
It would be really nice if they made another Stargate. That is my all time favorite. That fact that you mentioned it is probably why I am replying to this thread
I tired Eureka once and got bored quick. I might try it again though. I didn’t give it much of a chance. I have no current Scifi suggestions. Stargate was my tops but I use to watch stuff like Firefly , 4400, Battlestar Galactica Heros, Smallville etc.

Re: Sci-fi trailer
It's pretty dry. Watched a couple eps and didn't bother.
I want to start watching a Swedish show called Real Humans. Seems cool. Falling Skies is another. Defiance is a must. Fringe as well. You gotta look out for Halo and Helix.
Best long-term sci-fi/fantasy: Supernatural. It gets blah around the ~6th season, but it picks up later I think. Doctor Who - 2005 is right behind it.

Forbrydelsen the original Danish version of The Killing is off the hook, I'm addicted to that show right now

Re: Sci-fi trailer
Havent watched a decent how on tv lately.Might give this a look since i have lots of catching up to with tv.
Re: Sci-fi trailer
It wouldnt be the same if they made another one...i greatly enjoyed it tho. I loved Eureka...sad that all good shows must end. Ive never tried the other shows u listed...ill check out the previews and see if they're worth watching for me. ThanksSimplySerene wrote:I can’t sleep so I might be ranting right now.

Are these shows gruesome? I like action but detest gore. I used to watch Supernatural but got tired of it and stopped a long time ago. The title defiance tho sounds intriguing.Alphanumeric wrote: want to start watching a Swedish show called Real Humans. Seems cool. Falling Skies is another. Defiance is a must. Fringe as well. I would give it a go but "killing" in the title leads me to believe there's a lot of blood and gore....*SHIVERS*Perfect_Order wrote:Forbrydelsen the original Danish version of The Killing is off the hook, I'm addicted to that show right now

Re: Sci-fi trailer
You'd be surprised, on the ninth episode and there has been only one death, it's about hunting down the murderer more than killing.
Re: Sci-fi trailer
doesnt it get boring chasing one murderer for 9 episodes?

Dude see two episodes and tell me if you can resist the next episode. I'm absolutely hooked, I have to pry myself away.

SelfD,
Gruesome? Hmm. Falling Skies and Fringe - yes, Doctor Who - no. The rest I haven't seen or haven't been released.
Supernatural is one of my favourites. The first 5 seasons are nearly perfect. The show was written to end after 5, but it was too good to let go.

Watch the pilot of Almost Human, also watch Sleepy Hollow and Grimm.

I will give it a go...i get bored easily these days and have lots of spare time.Perfect_Order wrote:Dude see two episodes and tell me if you can resist the next episode. I'm absolutely hooked, I have to pry myself away.
What about defiance? I cant get behind Superanatural or Brother Grimm...I think the only reason I watched a few episodes was cuz I thought Dean was hot..lol But i got over that quickly.alphanumeric wrote:SelfD,

Comeon Tuushi, you can't leave me hanging like that...spillTuushi wrote:Self. I watch some weird stuff that i rather not share here.
Charlie annoys me, I mean its life and death and she knows nothing but still feels she can order her killing machine of an uncle around. The idea of survival in post civilization/ new era settings always captivates me. I mean things I liked; The Crysalids, the Giver, Ender's Game, Hunger Games, and Divergent.GeoSeven wrote:I found it really boring. Bland with horrible acting.
My brother was recommending Almost Human to me just yesterday, which I believe was the release?....how was it?LightHeaded wrote:Watch the pilot of Almost Human, also watch Sleepy Hollow and Grimm.
