A genuine question no. 2 - time for change in S/L?

Post by CilmiDoone »

So Somaliland has been asking for recognition for 23 years and has been stuck in limbo for almost a quarter of a century because of the hard headedness and unimaginativeness of its political leaders. Let's have an honest debate. The definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing again and again and expecting a different result. Ist it about time Somaliland does things drastically different? What can Somaliland do differently exactly?

South Somalia's political leaders have shown the entity to be utterly corrupt, broken, self-sabotaging and seemingly irreparable. Its going nowhere in the next decade.

Puntland is much much better, and Inshallah this election will end well.

Should Somaliland form a strategic alliance with Puntland to work together for common political interests and economix interests? To save the Somali name and the Somali ethnic group?

This where your political "debate" ends. The main reason they want secession is because of what certain people who hail from there have caused. :?

That's caqli xoolo. This is what politics ought to be about:
We have no eternal allies and we have no perpetual enemies. Our interests are eternal and perpetual, and those interests it is our duty to follow.
And besides, PL/SL work together in so many ways already. Its a natural progression.

In the past relations betwween puntland and somaliland were not to well but these days since president faroole
Came to power relations were well and warm there are unoffical ties somaliland helps capture bandits wanted in puntland, puntland helps neutralize khatumo in eastern sool.
Faroole sons and wife frequantly visit hargeisa somaliland colonels in the east visit garowe
So we can cooperate with puntland but we have different interests

LOL,... The metaphor your for looking is "Somaliland is like A Cheap Class Ho looking after her dusty interests by looking for the most suitable High Class Client to sell her nasty dusty ass"

Looks like Hawiye is the unfortunate lucky client that will be courting you, I promise you he won't be as gentled as the Darood client was and that your moaning will be heard afar! :som: ,...just make sure to bite your lips when he's doing you in HARD ;)

You do realise that the Nugaal basin empties at Eyl ?

Only the low class Isaaqs care about succession. The elites playing with your hearts and minds. Sad.

 That is where people will stop taking you seriously.
Absolutely no way on this Earth shall an alliance form between us and your kind

No. 1 we don't give a fock about places outside our borders.
No. 2 If hypothetically we did give a damn
why on Earth would we have an alliance with the Godless bastards who brought ethiopian troops to Somalia
to destroy the Union of Islamic Courts?

Take your "alliance" and shove it where the sun don't shine.
