I detect a pinch of sarcasm in your compliment Basra, but i'll take it :stylin:

You remind me of a feminist named Sylvia Tamale, have you heard of her?

No, darling. I do not hold any 'pinch' of sarcasm against u. :stylin: I just wiki---Sylvia---and I didn't read further than...

'Sylvia Rosila Tamale was the first woman dean in the Law Faculty at Makerere University, Uganda.["

I am not that oday Gurey25

Well Sylvia Tamale is a world renowned professor of African sexuality. Her self-confident, open and frank persona
really perturbes African men, because it is not custom for women to freely discuss sexuality in a public forum.
You are the Sylvia Tamale on this site full of Faraax's, and I find your views also refreshing. You are bat sh!t crazy
however, I like the fact that you haven't internalized patriarchy. just sayin.

:o What do u mean by this statement?

Good for her to be 'original' as u r yourself--dear garad. :? African men live in the medieval times, I wont be surprised at their reaction. This woman is a dean in a university. The greatest threat to human female is to expose her education. Once u hyper, seriously educate a woman, u unleash something that will no doubt leave a sour taste in your mouth. Education has a sense of liberating human beings from a box. :stylin:

It means that you denounce patriarchy and recognize that it is a tool to subjugate women

I attended a conference in South Africa where she was giving a lecture to government officials from all
over Africa. As I mentioned earlier she's very frank so she had the audacity to call Addis Ababa the 'Bangkok' of Africa
because of legalised prostitution and the number of tourists that visit every year for 'tumaasho'
The gentleman representing Ethiopia became enraged and proceeded to through a water bottle at her head

Oh I see. I thought patriarchy was used in the context of a family household but not a societal man supreme rule. :stylin:

Why are u attending a conference in south Africa, even more a lecture of this lesbian looking woman with disaster hairdo? I am puzzled dear gurey---ooppps I beg your pardon, garaad. :)
