What do you eat for afur aside from the dates. I eat quraybaad, shurbad, sambuuso, laxoox iyo suugo, malawax, kastad. Writing that made me so hungry. Laughing

I eat garbage(american food) during ramadan. I wish I was home during ramadan. Ramadan does not feel the same way without timir, sambuus, bur and malawax. Sad

I just broke afur at my parents house the other day thats why wrote this. I break my afur with subway footlong 12 cookies and some water, I know it sucks.

I believe qureybaad means Kac kac. It is always made in different texture and shape. But basicaly it is made of flour, butter, sugar, eggs, baking powder, salt to taste, cardamon and ofcourse Xabata Sooda! This last ingredient is what gives it's flavour.

Mr. Samatar, laxoox and sanuunad for afur is a little bit too much.

Anything prepared with xabad sowda aka black seeds taste and smell like crap. Are you sure meant xabad sowda and not something else?

You do not like Xabat Sooda or Xabat Baraka? You are like my sister, just yesterday she told me not to add the kackac with it as she hates it. But you guys do not know anything about it. I love the flavour of it with the kac kac. This kackac without Xabatal Sooda is no kackac at all!
