A Question of Tol Vs. Fiduciary Responsibility

I had the extreme displeasure of being invited to a tribal sit down in the case of two business partners. Both men started their business which was successful yet began to have different visions of where the business was going. One of the partners is a tribal kinsman and the other is not. To balance things out I was invited to partake in the deliberations. Both men presented their cases. Each accused the other of running the business irresponsibly. My kinsman's case was not as well prepared and I empathized with him but based on the facts, his case was much weaker. Ordinarily, I would have sided with him but I avoid emotions and qawiil from clouding my judgement when it comes issues of money. So I am pondering the blow back from tolka if I throw my support to the other candidate yet have to balance my principles around money ? Most of my business associates are not my tol and don't want to have the perception that I am a qawiilist when it comes to making money (spending it is a whole another case).
So Rer SNET, kindly share your thoughts ? We reconvene again next weekend.

horta, is qabil not qawiil! secondly, as business man should know everything has its place. you cannot mix between family/ qabiil and business.
business is all about interests and no place for emotions and personal relations. before all of those, you are nithing without your principles. you need to stand for something or you fall for everything!
dammit! i thought you would know this, cause you lived long enough to know that.

Thanks folks. If my ina adeer had approached me much earlier to help him prepare his side of the case, i would have assisted but from the way the facts are presented, he has little chance of succeeding.
Oh well, folks, it is always important to vet your business partners, put everything in writing and to have mediation systems in place.

Lend your voice to whichever one agrees to allocate a 0.5% share of the business for you in order to secure your support

Abdiwahaab lucrative business investments should be solely conducted free of Qabil biasnimo i look at the $$$ this is the most important thing now if you can invest in an area which will help both your Qabil and your personal interest than fair enough but its necessarily to go that way. Jeebkaga horta eeg jeebka reerkana ilaahay wax ugu rido i always say.

Khalidow,
I know. Tolka can sometimes short change you because they think you owe them something. Other qawiil business people keep it strictly business. I will never forget this odeey whom I helped get a NGO contract for some work in Puntland. As I was leaving he gave me an envelope for sooriyo. I thought may be $500 or something but it was $5000. I refused but he insisted. Walle, I never forgot that odeey for his gentleman behavior. Kuwa tolka didn't even put a $1 in my hand and I did much more for them.
