The scene is a mother being trick by a biaatch who is planning to ruin her daughters reputation by using a black man violin teacher. Oh the lives of rich people, don't u love it?

I watched this back in high school.
The mother was stupid...in the end much worse happened while "protecting" her daughter

Yep, her daughter was better off with the black man. This movie is a masterpiece. I saw in in 2001, and I think watched it 10 times more.
