DIdn't really kno about this guy nor cared for his death, but listening to his bio, I've gotten a profound respect for him. His real interest was Marine Biology and only got into acting to pay through school, but never finished because he was so busy, but nevertheless kept up his interest with research and doing dives. He was also a very big humanitarian activist, and was actually returning from or going to a fundraising for the Philippine victims of typhoon Hayaat.
