The Muslim Brotherhood: Somalia's natural governing party
From now.
I hope the Ikhwans organize themselves a bit better. I dont care who is President as long as the Ikhwans stay in power. And I think they will
They were the only ones who made Somalia fuction somewhat during the civil war while warlords were tearing the country up. They fed the poor, they enrolled kids in school, they built water wells, you name it.
These people are the most sincere. If the one man one vote elections happen soon, I think they will win by a landslide

Nah!.....not for me mate.
Wouldn`t trust them as far as I could throw them.
Somalia must be a confederation of autonomous federal states...with a weak centre.

Believe it or not Somalia is control by them, faroole , silaanyo are employed by the ikhwans as baits welcome to aala sheikhs and dam jadiids and plenty more to come out in the next ten years. The warlords has been washed away by their own sins accept those that adopt to the new realization, the era of the sheekhs.

What happened to your HAG theory?
The ikhwans also represent the interests of some clans and are exclusive
Dam jadid represents the interests of the shls, OGs(shaykh nuur baaruud, farah abdulqadir etc) and their ethiopian and kenyan connections
Farah abdulqadir is in some way the ethiopia and kenyas man in the govt but not their agent he just knows how to deal with them and they trust his in abilities...
The american officials visit after the removal of the last pm and the appointment of the new pm shows that they knew the orientation
The last year the regime was a mix of islamists and centralists
The central somalis have picked the mudug pm-saacid-
Thus, the regime was repeating abdiqasims failed policies and was close to fail to the point it has caused their conflict to come out publically
Now the role of the qasimisties in regime has been reduced with the appointment of the new pm who is close to dam jadid
Hassan sheekh cares only the regime not to fail, getting the westren support, becoming an american ally but this needs to have a reconciliatory policies than he will get the green-lights.
Now with the oneness of the executive power and vision their new year will be full of regional and global achievements.

They`re all amateurs, incompetents without a clue how to run a country....Somalia is not Bakara market.
There will be no change...the country will continue to go down the pipes.

Re: The Muslim Brotherhood: Somalia's natural governing part
HAG, although a noble ideology and organization, is unrealistic.Too many obstacles in its way and there would be opposition from within, especially from Mayor Tarzan and the municipality of Mogadishu. Future Mogadishu administrations will reject HAG because HAG threatens Mogadishu's capital status. HAG cannot function without Mogadishu support. Besides, if we wish for Somalia to move forward, its best we do away with such groups.
Sahal, how come the President has that minister from Tayo Party in his government? Aren't all of the ministers supposed to be part of the Peace and Development Party? Or is party politics still not established even in the infancy stage?
Original Dervish, you should be balanced

Alot are, true.
But I find Cilmoge, the minister of Information, to be competent and worthy of being praised for his hard work. Hes done alot to bring back postal services and the national carrier back
You cant paint everyone with the same brush

oh please speak for yourself.
The only person who make Mogadishu function and returned it into a capital seat of Dawlad is well known.
We getting power back in 2016.

AUN to the King of the Nomad nation.
