Have you ever owned an FHI?

Post by BlackVelvet »

I was going to get a Sedu but they're not sold in the UK or at least I can't seem to find them. So instead I'm thinking of getting the FHI, anyone here owned one before?

I don't want to make the same mistake I did with the Remington, I don't think I've used it more than 5 times

I am really loving having my hair straight these days. If I were pregnant I would say waan ku walacay, I'm looking forward to that excuse

Yes, it depends on the technique. If I take my time, straighten in small sections and use the heat protection on every section then it stays straight until I decide to wash it.

Which FHI are you deciding on? because there are different ones. I purchased my first flat iron about two years ago and My first flat iron was a FHI Technique. There might different Techniques I can’t remember the exact model and I gave it away. I remember I didn’t like it because it was to hot and my hair felt dry. There was no dial so I couldn’t adjust the heat . I think the temperature was always at 410 but I could be wrong ..... I tried it for a year with different hair products and eventually purchased a different flat. FHI do have good flat irons based on the reviews i have read but I just purchased the wrong one for myself.

Never heard of this FHI. I'm not much into flat irons but I have a sister going all crazy about buying a GHD one , it supposed to be the best in the market.

I am differentiating only on size at the moment. I am hoping to get one that is thicket than 1". I'm hoping to make the process quicker.

Omg you're right though I just saw one that has fixed temp setting. I didn't realise such straighteners existed.

I've been looking at reviews and apparently the FHI is the one recommended by professionals.

My hair stylist uses the FHI blow dryer and flat iron. Honestly, most straighteners will do the job so long as you a) use a proper leave in (argan oil, hairdress, heat protecting conditioner, etc) and b) blow dry your hair properly. If you wanna splurge, I'd say go for it. It'll prolly last since it's high end.

I Don’t even know if the iron flat is better on fixed temp or not. It may not matter for others but I like having mine at lower temp. Some people flat iron multiple times on low heat and some flat iron once on high. I like having a dial so I can test out which temp what works best.

This is the sort of size I am looking for but I've never heard of this brand. Gamma Piu I-Extra Nano Titanium Digital Wide Straighteners

Sounds good but I don't like buying things without reviews

No luck. I just saw 1 Youtube review. I think I might just get the 1 inch FHI but with temp dials. Walahi if you hadn't said that I wouldn't have even thought to check. Waad mahadsantahay
