So what else is new?
We got our first snow fall of the year about 2-3 in of snow, too much to risk diving in this weather, so snow day yay!!!

The laws have been struck down but they're still on the book for another year...so essentially, not legal yet

Prostitution itself was always legal. What wasn't legal was the activities surrounding it: the driver, the accountant, operating a brothel and the guy buying the sex. The Supreme Court said to change those specific laws within a year since those laws hurt the well being of the prostitutes. However, I suspect the govt wont bother and just let the year pass by quietly. They have lost the war. No need for them to be further humiliated in a decades long battle they tried to win. The govt rewriting the laws (to make those stuff legal) would be utter humiliation

The court is giving the legislature a year to change the laws so that they meet the human rights code. Not foreseeing this turning into a netherlands thing.....yet.
Wouldn't it be interesting what Rob Ford has to say?

Ahh....Do u think prostitution is outlawed as a sort of government welfare program supporting the fast food industry..
u know if u can make $$$ easy selling their bodies, wouldn't it make it much harder to make them work min wage at some restaurant?
