Merry Christmas HO HO HO!
Seasons greetings folks....I hope your all enjoying the festive period.
No doubt some will soon be tucking into a Turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

Seriously though.....why do some Somali's equate one's enjoyment of a Christian feast day as abandoning Islam?
I have always looked forward to this time of year...presents..paries...time off etc...is that such a bad thing?

Some of my friends don`t want anything to do with Christmas....even a cheery salutation is enough to enrage them.
I often say to such folks..your living gaalo paid for houses..attend gaalo paid schools etc, if you felt so strongly at having to observe gaalo holidays..why don`t you live in a Muslim country?.....but no.....they'd never give up the gaalo benefits.

What do you guys think...am I an apostate?

I don`t buy into that....I'm celebrating time off.

Me am workin double pay i will be makin $500 on xmas day n new years day!

I`ve worked Christmas & new year in the past....good money for sure.

wa runta. in kasto hada iska commercialized, still wah anaga shaqo ko leenahay maha.

I celebrate Chinese new year...Diwali....Hanukkah..and some others too.
I don`t believe in Christianity or Hinduism, nevertheless many of my compatriots do so will join them in their celebration.
It's not like I'm taking Holy Communion or prostrating before Shiva.
