Here are Somalia's finance Minister and Information Minister with Siilaanyo before the meeting. Siilaanyo asked to be replaced with Fowzia if he has to agree on reunification.

I have seen that pic yesterday, it was posted by HOL. The reason I didn't talk about it is bc I don't involve in the local politics or the politics that have no connections with the somali govt.
My friend this hand shaking has connection with the somali region not with the somali govt!.

Doesn't seem authentic...
But then again, Silanyo and his colleagues are practical people. I remember he wrote a paper back in the day advocating something similar (talks). So they may eventually come to pass.

I stand corrected. Silanyo actually proposed a
power-sharing deal between the SNM and USC.

Any way the walanweyns and somalilanders have two different cultures
In the guri of the walanweyns their president decides everything there is no balancing power in somaliland the people are the leaders because they elected them one one vote.
In accordance with the sl constitution silanyo cannot sign deals that go against the sL independence
I don't know how things of down south where ministers sign off somali waters.
But in somaliland this is not the case
