Re: I hate Healthcare
We got more people on insurance, but now we need to really look at why it is still so expensive. Just because Insurances are paying more doesn't make health care affordable.

Lol. I saw the Wal Mart pharmacy injecting people with the flu shot the other day. Couldn't help but see the irony. The same Wal Mart will be charging customers south of the border

Americans are against big government at it's core. It's an attitude that goes back to the Founding Father's and the revolution against Britain.ToughGong wrote:Americans believe

The private sector is always believed to be in the right and the government is seen with suspicion. Some of that suspicion is warranted but healthcare should be a right now for the privileged. Even with insurance, you're still going to be in the hole thousands of dollars if you have a procedure or worse if you have a disease..
Simply put, if you're poor now with Obamacare, you can get Medicare/Medicaid and have free healthcare... but if you're making more and are classified as Middle Class.. you're SCREWED. And obviously the rich (anyone over $250k a year) are doing well.

God bless the NHS
Thank God we don't have to deal with any of that fuckery over here
Paying for prescription drugs and a small portion of dentist bills is bad enough

Talking to fat Basra is like talking to an amoeba bless her cotton socks
FAH,that is to be commended it keeps dictators an such like at bay.Big government in that sense means a gov where the people have no say or representation in all areas. As was the case in the time you mentioned. So to simply throw out the baby with the bath watet, just because of an incident that occured 200 plus years ago makes no sense
Cilmodoon,in Wales we don't even pay for prescribtion charges or dental

Re: I hate Healthcare
Fah,
The guy is paying for not doing his home-work, most not for profit hospitals have a charity care program that people can apply to while in the hospital or as soon as one is discharged (there is a time limit for applying for it, just like there is a time limit on the application for State and Local Hospitalization paid by States). This guy would have been better off if he did not have health insurance.

PSA #1 for 2014
Do your home-work people, read the small print and the 10 pages consent form before signing.
