Post by sahal80 »

Abdikarim guleeds travel to turkey for talks may indicate his political departure in a time the cabinate is about to get announced, he is not coming back until saturday when is likely the cabinet to have taken the oath unless he is above the arrangements

Will he stay as a state minister may be?

Its expected the cabinet to include 5 to 4 former ministers

Other news
The somali president has received a message from the president of france through his ambassador to mogadishu

What happened to my pic? When I posted the pm hasn't met him yet

This pm should get a nick name, I would call him the ginger pm!

Once he was visiting the army at a very dark place and there was a white man in the middle of them I said to myself wtf? Who is this white guy? It was him!. Btw he is full mx.

The westren presence in mogadishu is getting bigger, there are italian troops at the airport with tanks

also last week an american army was revealed.

Who said the west does interest in the govt any more?
"He said the presence of U.S. troops in Somalia "underlines the commitment of the international community to support the Somali government to restore peace and security in Somalia."

A U.S. intelligence official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to speak to the media, told VOA the U.S. personnel are helping the Somali military and the National Intelligence and Security Agency."

:snoop: Unlike Somali's, whom have no national interests only tribal rivalries, the rest of the world have interests which they pursue relentlessly.
These interests are not beholden to Hassan Sheikh or any other Somali "president".

When Italians, Americans, French etc are observed in Mogadishu...only a fool will believe they're there to support Hassan Sheikh.
They're there for their pound of flesh. :pacspit:

I bet dam jadiid regrets picking Abdweli sheikh. Altough there will be some comprising now, Abdweli have minimized the influence and revealed the corruption of dam jadiid and more political instability is expected since there is no way people will accept Abdikarim guleed and and Faarax abdiqaadir sitting in the goverment.

You mean AMISOM? Their mandate ends on oct 2014.

Ethiopia has joined them but they have big trouble now bc the security councils mandate allows only 24,000 troops to be reduced by the end of their mandate followed by a UN operation. Ethiopia has secretly 8000 troops in somalia and now is part of amisom sections 3 and 4 so they need to reduce their number wich they don't state it officially but there will be a fact finding UN mission wich will expose them soon!.

There are two scenarios; changing the mission from AU mission to a UN mission, this will change the leadership and the commanders and its open for any international country to join. The other scenario is establishing a full UN operation represented by a security forces that will help the SNA after the liberation. On the request of the somali govt there were arrangements to establish this mission but the security council has said the conditions are not yet helping and extended the amisom mission up to oct 2014. According to security council the plan is to encreace amisom this year, equip them with helicopters and decrease it by the end of the year after the full liberation then they may consider the UN operation.
