I think it's about time we need a change, the current flag just doesn't represent us well.

To be honest thats a hideous flag. I'm sure hawdian can do better. What needs changing is the name. I've stopped referring to myself as a lander, when people ask me where I'm from I reply that I'm Adali.

There is nothing wrong with the current Somaliland flag.

But if they seriouse about the ictiraaf then they should remove the tawheed and keep it plain.

Our flag has to change, it looks just like the Gambella region's flag.

Laa ilaaha illallah, Muhammadu rasulullah will have no meaning when the ictiraf sough after is granted by the west and Somaliland officialy recognized as an independend and democratic country.

Only Allah is sovereign and since that fact is not only recognized but also acknowledged in the flag of the nation, the ictiraf to join the international gay club is a contracdiction to the tawheed, a slap in the face of grace and an abomination.

So all am saying is that it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep the flag plain.
The tawheed on the flag is buck naked without an islamic constitution and sharia to back it.
