That end of Somalia (Bari) is particularly mild as well thanks to the altitude.

OD don't you mean a strip of Saanag is evergreen ?

Its called an Oasis. You will find one of those at most deserts. Don't assume that a pocket of green equals the barren desert is some rain forest...

Sailing along the coast beyond Mosyllum, after a two days' course you come to the so-called Little Nile River, and a fine spring, and a small laurel-grove, and Cape Elephant. Then the shore recedes into a bay, and has a river, called Elephant, and a large laurel-grove called Acannae; where alone is produced the far-side frankincense, in great quantity and of the best grade.

Yeah but if you compare it towards the other areas its mostly a green in a corridor from Eri all the way too Atom-Galgala.
That corridor hasn't been exploited yet and i don't think it will for a long time. Alhamdulillah.

A breakaway, semi-desert territory on the coast of the Gulf of Aden, Somaliland declared independence after the overthrow of Somali military dictator Siad Barre in 1991.
Sky you come from this place go back to your hole now Mr. 2nd gen British boy

Semi desert is still better than a full blown desert. You have no trees and thought that since god did not bless your region with any trees you might have oil underneath but alas not so. No oil just a barren desert.lool

This is the kind of retard HJ people that puzzle me. You have a HJ president and SL becomes a failed state. Only a 2nd gen British boy could say such stuff.
Let me tell you something sxb, only a few towns of koonfur such as Afgoi etc etc produce more output than the whole of mamulka isaaq now digest that for me.

Somalia with the exception of parts of the south is entirely semi desert more or less. I doubt somali can survive in a desert and same for their camels.
