To add insult to the injury they left him bleed to death lying on the ground with no sense of remorse. The nearby sirens were coming from police vehicles called in for re-inforcement incase the large Black majority crowd that gathered at the crime scene gets out of control. The ambulance arrives when its already too little to late for the victim.

In the video it states that he was armed but I’m not sure.

Police brutality is wrong but sometimes as a minority with fewer rights you need to understand NOT to put yourself in certain winless situations. Firstly he should have paid for the bus ticket and shouldn't have run away from the cop. He lost his life over a bus fare. Sometimes unfortunate consequences can be avoided by some common sense and responsibility. I’m not condoning what the police did but small decisions can make a worldly difference.

its a good thing there is no sense of social cohesion for african americans, there is no identification with the other.
no cassabiya , because there will be consequences.
for example if that happened to someone i am related to i would put a hit out on that cop 100%.
and this is no bravado, 6 months , a year or two he will be shot 6 times and left to bleed or worse.

Do they not have an independent review and investigations commission in the US to deal with this? These things will continue to happen if no one is getting punished for abusing their power. Anyone with a gun including police officers are keen to use them, there has to be something there to stop them or to at least show them they can't get away with it.

Policing in the USA is highly decentralized. There are federal, state, county, metropolitan and city police all with their own policies. Because of this there is no standard of behavior and some jurisdictions have terrible police (systematic racial profiling, aggressive use of lethal force, etc). The classic example is the Los Angeles police department who's favorite tactic is to fire tear gas (which just happens to be highly flammable) into a house containing a bunch of fugitives that they don't want to live to see a court of law and then set it on fire.
