The only way the President will get out of this quagmire is to fix the main problem. Reinstate her to the central bank government with a guarantee of no interference to show IC he is serious. For her security she will have to have a office in the airport.

The president can live with the arms embargo being put back on which i doubt will cos it will only benefit the smugglers and HSM but unless he becomes self-sufficient i don't think he can stomach the huge squeeze on the donor money.

The late Abrar was a senior UN offical, who dead in a plane crash in Jowhar in the mid 1980s. The Abrar name carries weight that is quite a prestigious and well respected family.
