Business Ideas for Somalia/Somaliland

I'm thinking of going back to the motherland and maybe opening a business, are there any services that Somalis are in need off?

Starting something like a bakery, would that be profitable? I know Anjeero/Laxoox is a big part of Somali diet but is bread/ceesh/khubs part of daily life? Do they like cakes, tortilla, pastries, pies, stuff you'd get at Greggs?

Would this be a good business venture in Xamar/Hargeisa?

Construction, consulting, financial services, transportation, trucking, etc. Grocery stores.

Local bakeries will drive you out of business and the Somalis don't like them fancy pastries. Don't bother.

Investing back home is perfect now. There's nothing there. Your simple idea can get you rich simply because no one offers that service or good

My friend has been making a killing sending boxes of rizla to Xamar.
However, I would caution against involvement in such activities.

I think there are locally made pipes and the diaspora prefer skins.
I'd like to get into milling and breakfast cereal production, with animal feeds as a byproduct.
