Very dangerous stand off is taking place in Kismaayo while Barre Hiiraale watches 5 minutes away.

The two men who conspired to rob all the other stakeholders and each one representing the two dominant neighboring powers of Ethiopia (Fartaag) and Kenya (Madoobe). The two men who jointly fought Barre Hiiraale. The two men whose loyalty in each other's presence made Jubba Maamul happen are in the last few seconds of fighting.

They are in the midst of naming the administration, but that administration seems like it will be aborted.

The issue is the Governor of Kismaayo district and the Mayor of Kismaayo. Fartaag wants a Marehan man by the name of Cabdi Barre and that Marehan should get 3 deputy Ministers along with their two Ministers while every other clan gets 1 Minister and 1 deputy minister. Fartaag has also said Marehan should get Port Commissioner and 3 department heads (Agaasime) while every other clan gets 1 department head.

But the biggest issue is the position of Governor of Kismaayo district and Mayor of Kismaayo. Fartaag wants a Marehan man by the name of Cabdi Barre while Madoobe wants an Ogaden man by the name of Cabdullahi Dheere.

Knowing that a clash might take place, Fartaag told the Ugaas of Sade Mohamed Ugaas Xaashi to leave along with the Sade delegation that took part in Jubba Maamul formation.

Ras Kamboni tried to prevent them, but Fartaag's boys brandished their weapons. The Ugaas and his delegation flew safely from Kismaayo and landed in Mogadishu to a large welcoming.

As soon as they flew, the head of Ras Kamboni's militia a man by the name of Ciise Kamboni was assassinated in front of his home.

It is a tense stand off and we might be seeing the fake administration on it's last two seconds.

This must be music to Barre's ears. That the fake claimant Ahmed Madoobe's name even exists today is due to the treason and disloyalty of Fartaag along with the Kenyan army being removed.

The fight is not inevitable but as long as the position of Kismaayo mayor and district commissioner goes to Marehan. Fartaag specifically wants a man by the name of Cabdi Barre and all the Marehan in Jubba maamul have said Kismaayo was what Marehan fought for all these years and there is no way they will accept another Mayor...that the city is today principally a Marehan city.

So fighting seems likely to occur but there is a settlement out. However, by sending the Ugas out I really don't see a future for Jubba maamul without Marehan leadership.

The reality is Kismaayo will ALWAYS be in Marehan sphere of influence principally.

This isn't Barre and his boys who left Kismaayo due to Kenya and are sitting like the land was meant to be owned by them merely 5 miles to Kismaayo.

Nor the many boys commanded by Cabaas and Warfaa in Ceel-waaq who are beir prevented by the Kenyans sitting in Buusaar with no other aim then blocking them.

Al Shabaab kicked him out with some little outfits called Mucaskar Caanoole, Ras Kamboni, and Marehan Al Itihad. Less than a month later after Ras Kamboni tried to ask for a cut of Kismaayo port, Al Shabaab and Marehan Al Itihad sent them to the duur.

But how did Marehan even come to control there again after they lost it to the ICU in 2006 which lost it to the Ethiopians and Abdullahi Yusuf in 2007? Because as soon as the Ethiopians withdrew, Marehan expelled Abdullahi Yusuf's Ogaden/Harti administration led by Col Koojaar and Col Afgaduud. They held the town as a clan with our elders presiding as city council.

No clan can do that if Kismaayo is left entirely to clan control except for ours.

Now I want peace and I want peace and a excellent relation between Marehan and their Ogaden brothers, but I am not sure why you guys act surprise when we say we don't accept the Kenyan project. We have never accepted it and you shouldn't be surprised when we are against him.

According to local report the killer was Al-Shabab, and at the same time a relative of AUN Ciise Kambooni. The JL admin displayed his picture. Read from, Dhanan and Jowhar

Alshabab claimed his operation and I have zero doubt that he would have killed Fartag and Madobe, if he got a fat chance.
