I cannot say we are second, third, fourth but all i know is that Marehan have significant presents in Mogadishu. But one thing I know for sure is that we are the largest Daarood sub-clan in Mogadishu.

i think merahan are the number 1 daarood as in population in xamar.

Darod are maybe 25,000 out of the total 2.5 million.

But if you breakdown Hawiye:
1. Abgaal
2. Habar Gidir
3. Murursade
4. Hawiye yaryars coined together (Sheekhaal, Duduble, Gaaljecel and all others)

6. Marehan
7. Dir
8. Jareerweyne
9. Reer Banadiris
