I was recently among the upper classes in the country that I reside and I have noticed a peculiar attitude towards the Somalis and that is; they have a condescending humanitarian benevolent attitude towards us.
One of the people there dated a girl from Somaliland, so he brought up his narrow understanding of Somalia and needed my input because he noticed herr animosity towards non somaliland somalis and he wanted to hear my take on what she said(got love white liberal people).
I gave him a articulate explanation of course I understood my audience,
with my own biases of course but at the end of my tour de force, they were fascinated by beesha daarood and even looked to their phones and googled it and found out that there is historical truth that what I said.I had to break down for them the demographics of Somalia and the cultural schism that exist in our country
