From what i've read, Barre appears to be the one to have had the longest, most far reaching effect on the Somali political and historical landscape.

Your list is bias. If you say Somalia I’m cool with but when you say Somali history you talking about the whole Somali race

Muse Galal wrote Somali language. Gahayr translated most of science books from English to Somali. He was so influential The Somali National University was named after him. The SNM Hero. Yes there was no warlord like Aydeed or Cabdilahi Yusuf but they changed the Geography of Somalia permanently.

Dhaga, that's a good point you put forth, about Galal being the most influential, as the language will have the most long term positive impact on Somalia. And over time, history will bear this out.
