Djiboutian authorities have detained a paramount Somaliland born businessman Mr. Jama Omer Seed on prefabricated charges in what is seen as the increased
persecution of Sacad Muuse community living in Djibouti by the oppressive regime.
Undisclosed sources say the Mr. Jama Omer is been held for importing cigarettes into the country through illegal means but speculation is rife that
his arrest has something to do with his business links with the self-exiled Djiboutian businessman Mr. Abdirahman Boreh who is one of the staunchest
critic of the current President of Djibouti Mr. Ismael Omer Gulleh.
Fellow businessmen and family members of the businessman were denied access to the businessman who is currently held at the notorious Gabade prison
which is known for its clear what prompted repressive regime to arrest the businessman who holds a dual nationality
