A lot of Muslims discount the ability of the female as a leader, and that is a shame. The woman who taught me about Islam is Somali, and her name is Fatouma. Islam does not hinder a woman's ability learn and and teach knowledge, clearly you're a proof of this and should further reaffirm your confidence in the equal ability of both men and women to transmit knowledge, the only competition between men and women in matters faith should be toward pleasing Allah,
