This article wallahi disgusted me so much that i nearly wanted to vomit. It is about a 61 year old women who is boasting about how she had sex with 15 men half her age in a year. That is arab culture, i have never heard of a 9 year somali girl being married off, somalis marry at the age of 19 when women are considered gashaanti ( ready for marriage). Also somalis never marry their cousins, i have yet to come across a somali married to their own cousin. What you are highlighting is arab culture and tradition which is very different to somali culture. FGM which is practiced by somalis is not a somali custom, it is adopted from ancient Egypt 6000 years ago. So in reality pure somali culture is the best system in the world . I agree that these cultural practices belong in the Arabian desert, however they have nothing to do with somalis. You will get the uneducated somalis attempting to adopt these horrific practices though
