He seems like an intelligent person and he got great oratory skills. The metaphors and the poems within the speech really portrays Godanes ability to evoke pathos.

He doesn't necessarily need to show his face but I believe he should set an example and participate in the battles like he did in Afghanistan. That would give him more credibility.

surprisingly motivating,
he sounds like someone one would support through thick and thin. had I not known the atrocities of alshabaab. I would say he is the MAN somalis need in the office to fend of western and regional interest in somali lands....and also to unite all the beggar tribes..

unfortunately he is a blood thirsty psycho

This strategy of his to rule from the curtains is what eventually will be his downfall and of the organisation. Its already falling apart.

True, he's losing credibility and many of his comrades are being killed on the battlefields.

The youth would be better of Godane and his extreme non pragmatic methods. But since the amniyat is in his firm control, he will most likely drag them all into defeat.

Even if they're defeated at an organizational level, they're going to be present in the Horn for a very long time. Their method of warfare will change and they will only resort to hit and run tactics.

Riktig psykopat.

I don't agree with some of his extremist ideas but I agree with him that Ethiopia, Kenya and Amison are all our enemies. If he targets them alone and leaves civilians out, he'll have my support. He needs to understand that his biggest source in defeating these fuckers lies with the Somali people. He's gotta find a way to put them on his side and his whole mission would be much easier. If he's going to bomb anyone, it should be AMISON/Ethiopian/Kenyan bases. Not innocent Somali people.

I disagree.....we are our own worst enemies by far.
Even if you accept that the Ethiopians/Kenyans are our enemies and began acting accordingly.....there would be Somalis left/right/center, whom would be collaborating against you.
