I keep seeing on the internet about Somalis in Toronto are against this Somali Task Force for Somali students that are struggling at school. Is it true? Are Somali students over there struggling? What the hell is going with you Somalis over there? Sort yourself out man, you have made us into a laughing stock. Fix your damn youth specially the boys and their so-called gangster culture. I swear the Somalis in Minneapolis are the best Somali community in diaspora.

Dude shut up. I don't like your targeting of Canadian Somalis. You did it atleast three times. We are 100x better than whatever community you are a part of. The Somalis in Canada are the reason why the Somalis worldwide are not seen as worse.

Lets be honest, Reer Canada keep popping on the media for all the bad reasons. I really don't believe Reer Canada are the best Somali community in diaspora.

I rather my community control the drug trade than stab other Somalis over cellphones and what postal code they live in. Don't talk about my community. You have bigger problems. I'm no longer a diaspora person. I live happily in my country.

But seriously what is so good about controlling the drug trade? I can't they not compete over education?

I'm not trying to put down reer Canada, I think the Europe Somalis are not much better. All Somali diapora's need to f-king wake up. Here in Mogadishu all I see is American Somalis that are busy rebuilding their country, a few UK/Canadians but majority are USA Somalis.

Let's not ignore our problems and solve them instead. You will not achieve anything by ignoring it.

Why are they giving free food? I thought this task force is about extra lessons, tuitions, encouragement, Somali history month etc.

It was hosted to raise Somali cultural heritage and keep the youth in touch with their motherland, it's more social than academic.

Oh weird. How is that going to help them with their education. Because this Task force decided because of the poor achievement of Somali students, apparently they have 27% drop-out rate.
