So Tony Benn has departed this world of sin for the Afterlife I see. Damn, that guy was my hero. Mourning is ahead. I had the honor to see the old boy speak in the flesh. A polemical artist if there ever was one. I will never forget the way he verbally smacked down John Bolton, the way he took on the master troll Ali G at his own game and beat him in the grand manner, or the quintessential English way he carried on smoking his pipe even in the midst of a heated confrontation, long after smoking pipes had gone the way of the monocle and the typewriter. What a legend, what an orator, what a BOSS.
