Seems like tension is increasing in North Somalia as Mamuulka Waqooyi leader Siilaanyo visited Las Qoray a warsangeli stronhold, Puntland responds by sending troops to the city

War-saxaafadeedka ayaa lagu sheegay in Puntland ka digayso isku dhac maamul oo dhex mara deriskooda, wasiirka oo ay weriyaashu su’aalo weydiiyeen ayaa sheegay in Laasqoray aysan ahayn furin dagaal.
Ciidamada Puntland ayaa si dhaqso ah u gaaray deegaanka sida uu hadalka u dhigay iyagoo haatan gacanta ku haya magaalada, kadib booqashadii madaxweynaha Soomaaliland.

islaamihii youtube beating the drums of war must be relieved that Puntland is showing signs of daroodism. The end of that youtube video had my lol when the last islaan to speak said if puntland don't act within a week, we will!

Jahils and war. PL and SL are better off having a loose union (aka Somalia duhhh) that will create 1 economic environment not 2 states prone to manipulation from 10 foreign entities creating war, confusion and regression.

no thanks, p/land should remain part of former italian colony somalia as one centralised sovereign state ruled from xamar. somaliland and somalia as two separate nations side by side is the best situation for the somali penisula aka somali territories in the horn

whenever I hear the word peninsula, I always think of this meaning: a piece of land that is bordered by water on three sides but connected to mainland. Somalia isnt, hence my confusion. However I get your point that If Djibouti is added to the equation, the red sea serves as the third body of water.

i think he accepts that somaliland's independence and territorial integrity is not up for discussion hence why he was a good agent...ooops neighbour to us during and after his term in office

Antics like these is why Somalis invest in places like SA,Uganda and other places afar.
Stability is what fuels growth not tribal (and diasporic even worse) leaders declaring how far their 'authority' extends.
But i already know that today its just too much to ask...
