4.5 in the lower house
Handpicked state represetatives in the upper house
Who will represent the parties? President/PM/Cabinet?
The cabinet will end up being ministers in other governments and switch parties every few years. President and PM can end up doing the same
Party system is not feasible. It will never be introduced

Re: Political parties will never be set up in Somalia
You must be one dumb fucker, the only reason why the parliament are hand-picked today is because of the security situation of the country as it is not feasible to do any local elections in the country today.
Once security has been strengthened the political landscape of Somalia can develop. Rome wasn't built in a day
p.s. enough with ur dumb threads, you self-hating Somali. Bring solutions next time u retard.

Security situation. Blah. Blah. You can still create political parties
They could have done local elections in Mogadishu. It has been under government control since 2011. Why wasnt this new mayor elected by the people? Bombs will be going off anyway 10 years from now since the Somali don't have the brains to make a real security force since the Somali is incompetent.
If the govt really does control all of Muqdisho, then ballot boxes can be put up. The threat of a suicide bombing should be no excuse to not set up local elections. Or does the govt only really control some districts?
