is puntland two provinces and 1/4?

Post by sahal80 »

I mean realistically speaking bari and nugaal inhabited by one single subclan and its tiny associators and some of mudug that are under garoowes control

I use to think that garoowe was controlling laasqoray but its not

No one can deny that the majority of mudug is in south of galkacyo

Constitutionally, puntland is not yet a federal state, it can be considered as a self-managed autonomous region however, when the federal system was completed, will puntlands map look like this?

Geopolitically, ethiopia is not on the side of puntland annexing sool and sanaag

Mogadishu waits for a political settlement with somaliland

Most of mudug and galgaduud will form the central state.

somaliland and her five original regions will officially be independent once again to revoke the illegal union of july 1960, i promise. after this somalia the FORMER italian colony will become a centralized country of 13 regions with mogadishu as the all powerful capital of a non-federal somalia led by hag/usc

sahal.....trust me, any political settlement between hargeisa and mogadishu that doesnt mean dissolving the1960 union will be null and void to the :sland: people who are overwhelmingly pro independence

You're right sahal. HG live in 3 out of 4 districts in Mudug. Si kale hadaan kuu sheego HG have 2.5 districts in Mudug while daarood have 1.5 districts. Also HG own around 70-75 % of the land im Mudug. Much more than Galgaduud. I will show you the map later.

Here we go again, whether we have 2 or 10 is not the point. Get that federal bullshit out here. Sahal, PL will be independent or worst case scenario will retain full autonomous status.

this is one of the reasons why even the terrorist scum indhacade supports the khaatumo project.
puntland has been assured to get 1/3 of the international aid that's being given to the mogadishu government under the somali name.
keep trying to come up ways in discrediting puntland's god-given right to get what it's rightfully hers.

there is no political settlement with somaliland yet though the somali govt has the legal power. at the moment, only puntland is part of the SFG, even if somaliland accepts such a re-union, there will be a power sharing on the bases of how much you control.

Why? See that's one of the reasons Somalis are in their current situation. Always claiming shit that doesn't belong to them.

My friend, Puntland is above a "Federal state" lool. Wtf? Its a full fledged independent Maamul that has kaladambeyn iyo Dawladnimo. If it weren't for us, the "Federal state" wouldn't exist. Majority of our territory was a kingdom even before the colonialists, forget about anything else lol. Not trying to be offence but you're getting a bit ahead of yourself bro. The so called Somali government has no power and if the foreign troops leave today, almost all of its gained territories would be in Al-Shabaabs hands. There is also the intra-tribal complex issues in the south. God knows what other stuff will pop up if al-shabaab disappears. Our territories are secure and we are self-reliant in-terms of governance. What's this all Puntland isn't federal iyo waaxad sheeg shegayid Saxiib? You're talking to the people that brought the federal government to the south, the people who drafted the Garowe Principals 1 & 2. The people who since the start of the Somali state have always been influential. We have been patient, waiting for Moqadisho to sort out its issue and its multiple phases, from Qab-qable to Al-shabaab etc for decades.

Some of us are getting really tired, also considering and going back to what I said, there is no real "guarantee" so to speak that the south will ever be peaceful. A real proper ground based and comprehensive peace process should happen in the south. These foreign troops won't stay forever and God knows what will happen once they leave. Al-shabaab is only the tip of the issue, we all know that just few years ago there was no such thing as shabaab and the south was still in absolute chaos.
