Laudable initiative on the shoemakers part but I wouldn't label the product a luxury. No elegance. Quite ugly actually.

I think they're trying to emulate Italian leather shoes. I'd like to see your definition of nice shoes. Nike trainers lol?

Not so sure if genuine elegance or style matters anymore when it comes to high end fashion. They would probably sell for a considerable price in a Harrods by simply tagging a note on the stand, stating something along the lines of "Exquisitely hand made by a sole trade from in the old quarter of Accra Town and polished with the finest local oil of bark from the wilds of Ghana" :lol:

Lol you get it. I have a mind to sell Muqamad/oodkac and subag as "Traditional preserved meat from nomad-reared camels of the East African savannah in delicious creamy camel-milk butter and rare Somali spices"
