I do think Putin is plotting to weaken the US and get Russia back to its superpower status but this will take years of planned attacks at their economy. They still have resentment for what the Ronald Reagan administration did to them in the 80's they basically destroyed the whole Soviet Union and crashed their economy and they never really recovered lakin they are slowly getting back to their feet and the US and rest of Europe can see that. this whole Crimea situation was a power play to see what they can get away with and it worked the US and the west backed off. There's very little America can do. It will shout and jump and put a million sanctions on Russia. But it won't risk an armed engagement even if Russia retakes all the previous soviet states. Despite being the undisputed superpower, even the US wouldn't rashly start a war with a capable nuclear power. For what? For Slovakia and Poland?

The currency thing though is a different scenario and America will fight tooth and nail for the Dollar. It's about survival.

This crisis was just Putin needed to solidify his power.
Contrary to Western Propaganda Putin does not have absolute power nor is he a dictator.
Putin and his faction the nationalists have been balanced by the other quieter group that is or was until recent events just as powerful. This group is called the Integrationaists.
The nationalists have some oligarchs but most are academics and ex millitary and ex kjb like putin they have no respect for the west, have no interest in joining them in their club and want Russian greatness and independence from western meddling.
The Integrationists are in love with the west, they are a small and isolated group of oligarchs who want to join with the west,
they are powerfull enough that when Putin rounded up the mostly jewish oligarchs and made them kneel in submission to him if they wanted to keep their money and live, these Integrationists were powerful enough for Putin and his faction to leave them alone and share power with them.

Its been an intense 10 year plus, and a state of balance between them.

Now the Ukraine crisis has allowed the Nationalist faction to finish off killing the opposition they will use past pro west speaches



to incriminate the Integrationists and fire as many people as possible from government.
Then the next stage is to make them kneel in obedience to Putin and his faction like they made the previous bunch of Oligarchs .

This will translate into the elections, because the Integrationist parties have no money thanks to the banning of western NGO's
overseen and funded by the CIA.
With the Integrationists Oligarchs balls chopped off, they will have zero money coming in because the people dont support them.



Now Putin has been talking about this Currency and payment system since 2006 but he was always checked by the integrationists, him starting to move now in this direction means that the Integrationists have been defeated.
Ofcourse you should understand that everything Putin does is done after consultation and agreement of China.
This is not just Putins pet idea, its China long term strategy since Jiang Ze min early 2000's.
Again China has had similiar problems to Russia, they have a new faction in the "Communist party" allied to their own oligarchs that have a vested interest in keeping the export oriented focus of the economy contrary to the plan that was implemented in 1978. Deng Jioping and his people believed that export oriented development was to be a starter an ignition for the economy and when the engine starts running smoothly the focus should be turned towards internal development. they expected this to take no more than 20 years.
They have not started this re-direction even though the time is ripe now, they have bought and stolen and developed all the technology they need from the rest of the world, they have huge foriegn currency reserves, and their industrial production is just at the right stage.
The delay is because of all the billionaires that make money from exports buying influence in government.
In china today you have 2 small minorites that are driving the policy.
The corrupt pro-western billionaires that want to keep things the way they are now and the extreme nationalist that want a change in direction . Most of the power is in the hands of the conservatives who are slow to move and don't believe in hasty actions.
The recent sabre rattling and border disputes in the South China sea are a result of nationalists in the party and armed forces
attempting to force the majority into their way by starting a fight with the US.
They believe even a millitary defeat will help them politically sideline the pro-west exporters and the majority conservatives.
The conservatives believe in keeping a low profile and avoid all entanglements till the Mililitary modernization is finalized in 2027. They believe that they can defeat the US and its allies in the future, its best to keep quite now.

The Russian/Chinese game plan is basically to launch a prison break from the Prison the US Dollar holds their economy.
Dollar hegemony is a real thing every country is subservient to the Dollar, the Euro is an underling its growth lifts and supports the dollar.
Everytime the Opec exporters sell a barrel of oil they benefit the US economy, Everytime the chinese sell something they benefit the US economy.
Everyone has to buy and sell in Dollars, if you have Euros and want to buy Yen, you need to sell Euros , buy Dollars and then buy yen.
This allows the US to be largest debtor in history but no problem all those dollars comeback into the treasury sooner or later,
allowing the US to run the biggest and most magical credit card on earth.
Imagine having a credit card with $50,000 credit limit and you go shopping and max it out.
Then you wait a month but instead of having to make a payment with interest, your limit is back to $50,000.
We are all paying for the US to spend, no wonder their millitary budget is greater than the next 20 countries combined,.

Any back to the prison break, you need a set of gaurentees before you escape or you will be forced back into prison.
You need access to natural resources free from the parasitic suckers of the Western Financial structure.
The routes for trade are through the sea and are controlled by the US navy and its allies, in any conflict they will choke China into submission just like they did Japan in 1941.
China needs oil, gas, metals the nearest area with the reserves free from parasites is Central Asia and Russia.
This is where the New Silk Road comes in, and this is why the US is in Afghanistan .
The US has been trying to seduce the central Asian countries into its fold since 1991 but with little progress, they prefer Russia.
China doesn't mind continued Russian dominance in the area as long the US is kicked out of the region.

any way back to the Silk road, when this completed in the next few years along with the pipelines from Siberia,
china can now move to stage 2 that is simultaneously re-focus into internal development while at the same time escape dollar hegemony.
How ? by demanding Yuan instead of dollars for all exports , they have started this small scale already
there are already agencies where you can buy yuan, you can open yuan currency accounts already and several countries have started trading in yuan.
The difference is when stage 2 occurs they will not give you a choice of dollars or other currencies or yuan like today, they
will say only yuan is allowed.
They will simultaneously start dumping their dollar reserves because if they don't the dollar will depreciate on its own anyway and they will be worth nothing.

What will be the US response?
I don't know they have limited options.

1.Stage color revolutions in Central Asia, Kazakstan, Uzbekistan and Kirghistan, and replace them with western puppets like Ukraine.

Russia will 100% react to this so its dangerous.

2. Start a limited war in South China, and give the Chinese a black eye and humiliate them, and hope for disruption in the Chinese communist party.
The recent upgrades like the J-20 the hundreds of J-11s and H-6s and the massive stockpiles of Dong Feng -21 anti-carrier group missles will gaurentee that the US loses at least a carrier or to and several frigates and destroyers.

The Americans as an economic super power are long past. Today the USA produces nothing but porn and weapons. What keeps the facade of economic power are tow things, the dollar as the worlds standard currency and the American rouge capitalism.

Imagine if you could just print papers at will and creat values and the entire world trust the stacks of newly printed fiat money. What makes a currency made out of paper valuable is one of the strangest human accomplishment, much of the world is poor due to this superficial power. Paper has no intrinsic value on itself, it has value due to human consensus and if tomorrow the world choose to make their trade on camel dung the Arabs and Somalis will be the richest. On the surface it appears bizarre but economically its the same. As soon the Bricks member state begin to discard the dollar as a reserve currency the American artificial might will crumble and their firms and banks will be forced to abandon the dollar, after all the market economy is selfish predatory machine that has zero regards to any lofty nationalism .

The American neo liberalism in itself is enough to destroy it's host, the ruling class and its capital are using the historical lucky hand America are dealt to advance their narrow interest on accumulating wealth for the sake of wealth itself. Its economically destructive to accumulate wealth and then use all that wealth for quick speculative trade where there is no genuine production. In the entire world trade volume not even 1% is real trade of good and services, its all paper financial gambling and thats what the West has today as an economy. The Chines are the real fools of the market, in order for that racket to function the market need a trusting fool like china that exchange goods and service for printed American papers with dead presidents image on them, the Chines are keeping America a float. One can argue its wise to be meek and carefull, true, but the Chines are taking this act to the extreme borders of cowardness. They should have long began to get rid of using dollars and buying treasury papers. The Arabs and their oil is the second mule for the American power.

No China nor Russia will be the culprit in the American demise, the American oligarchs and their unique economic extortionist system called neo liberalism will slay the giant. The market will crash within few years thats a guarantee and once that happenes the west will backpedal to socialism. Rusian internationalists? what is their political and economic ideas? Do they want Russia to be like the European union, an ally of the US in the world affairs?
I think Putin's Russia complements western interest globally. If it was not Putin, Syria would not have been in the shape it is now, which puts Israel, a western ally, in the best position it could ever be. A weakened and disarmed Syria led by a hated and minority Calawi leader is, in my limited knowledge, the best outcome the west could hope from Syria and Putin assisted that greatly. On the other hand, the only thing I could see Russian internationalists could bring to the US is to completely open Russian markets to western corporations and their financial institutions.

About China, regardless of the differences between communist party factions, I think a shift from an export driven economy to a one where domestic consumption is the main driver is inevitable given the quickly growing disposable incomes of the Chinese people. They just need to fix their social security systems to further induce more people to consume and save less.
