Haven't I seen pictures of Somalis greeting foreign dignitaries with warran and gashaan? Isn't that similarly traditional and head-scratching worthy?

Once a slave always a slave there is a reason why some people were used as slaves and others were not.

and I am tired of the media running around with pictures of this ugly bitch and her useless husband they think they are something but they are not most of humanity does not care about useless white king families.

Hydrogen,

I'm not finding them, but I have seen at least two. The spears and shields were rather makeshift, but it was clearly a symbolic matter. In each case, it was a row of six or so Somali officials greeting UN or other foreign officials. I think one was at the airport in Mog, it seems to me about the time the Constitution was being discussed. They were in articles I saw here. I haven't seen any repeats and can't seem to pin it down precisely. Anybody else?

Yup, its called dabaal-dag and most somali tribes performed it for the Italians, Brits and even the Ethiopians.Traditionally it was performed for the sultans and religious leaders, but it was adopted for the colonial governers later.
