Yes,you are right,Siad Barre killed several officers after Ogaden War.

In April of 1978, there was a failed coup against Barre but Barre forces defeated the Coup and Abdullahi Yusuf one of the members of the CoUP fled to Ethiopia where he and others created SSDF.
