Islamically speaking the UK is dar al-Xarb, she divided us, giving NFD to Kenya and Galbeed to Ethiopia. She killed millions in Iraq and Afghanistan. So why should I pay them back?

cause simply, you sign the deal/3ahd and you ordered to respect the 3ahd.
if darul 7arb, you better move some where else or respect rules and regulations.

it's not a loan, its a tax, you cant avoid it, the minimum payment is taken automatically of your pay and shown as student loan on your payslip, i pay about 40 quid a month eventhough I never graduated

Ustadh, the thing is I was obliged to sign it because there was no other way to get an education and then get back to my homeland. And I read a Deobandi fatwa saying that you're allowed to take dar al 7arb loan if you're studying something important and returning to your country.

Paid back all of it last year.
As for your question, it is as sheikh hyper said, you either respect the rules or you go somewhere else for education. Deenta haku gaban because you don't want to pay your loan. Certainly, Allah likes not the treacherous - Anfal 8: 58

I have stumbled upon a loophole where the govt department that gives out the student loans isnt the department that collects back the repayment of those loans. This department that collects it back has no idea how much you're making so essentially even if you are a millionaire, you can basically lie to them every 6 months that you are making minimum wage. They don't have access to your tax returns. After 15 years, the govt pays off the interest and principle in full for all loan borrowers. Even shorter for the "low income". So you can basically get away with not paying a single dime back
Sometimes big red tape government is to your benefit
I wouldn't do it though. It's taxpayers money

the question is, is really darul 7arb when you come to their land with your or your parents will and no one forcing you to take it, when you can go to Saudi Arabia..lol or your homeland to study?
you cannot fit islam with your needs but fit" yourself" with islam obligations. i seen many people who shop fatwas that fit their "wants and needs" that's just wrong. remember God looks into your hearts and cannot fool God!

some people use the same argument to do benefit fraud and credit fraud.
