Limited competition from foreign airlines is fine. If local Somali flights offer 1-2 daily to say Addis Ababa, no harm in allowing a foreign airline offer 1.

These companies need to learn how to compete. They charge high prices for their crappy service. But they should still be protected.

Also, I am sure a flight from London will eventually be offered considering the large Sonali community there. British Airways has many flights in Africa so I wouldnt be surprised and Turkish already comes to Xamar. The govt should make sure its only offered twice a week maximum. We dont want the Dubai Somali flights to be greatly affected
