Secondly When countries merge and become one, there has to be equal funding of the country, no offence to djabouti but the $1.2 bn they make by renting their country to forign soliders is just not going to cut it. Lastly why would somaliland with a population of nearly 4 million be a Provence of a nation of 1.8. No offence but it should be the other way around. djabouti should ask to join somaliland
Djabouti is fine as it is.
Listen, Dir or Isaaq whatever I'm not here to argue tribal lineages, but it would be best for somaliland to use a recognized currency don't you agree?
The currency is not recognized as legal tender by the international community, and it currently has no official exchange rate.
Also most of our money is from our port, not the bases
The economy of Djbouti is derived in large part from its strategic location on the Red Sea.
The bases are just money on the side lol.
Our gross domestic product is 2.05 billion for a nation thats about a million
GDP $2.505 billion (2013est.)
Somaliland is not 4 million, and the rates of jobleness in that area are through the roof, many are fleeing to Djibouti for work.
Djibouti has the money to build up those we are friendly too lol If the isaaq want to stay with their head in the ground screaming Somaliland then they can do that,
Im sure others would love to join our mighty nation. (SSC,Awdal,Salal,Shiniile, etc.)
